      Job Description Summary

      As a Sourcer, you play a foundational role in the Sourcing & Research Team, focusing on building a strong talent pipeline for the organization. A role where you will receive the investment and training to build out your sourcing and research skills to have a greater impact in the talent acquisition organisation.

      Job Description

      • JOB TITLE: Sourcer
      • LOCATIONS: Leeds, Bristol, Halifax or Edinburgh
      • HOURS: Full Time
      • WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site.

      What we need from you

      • With an external-first viewpoint, you learn to craft clear sourcing strategies to support the team's talent acquisition goals.
      • Your role involves gaining exposure to various sourcing methodologies tailored to organizational needs, contributing to the innovation of new strategies.
      • While developing your communication skills, you engage with candidates, gradually transitioning passive candidates into active candidates, and providing initial support throughout the recruitment journey.
      • You champion candidate experience, contributing to the establishment of standards for a candidate-centric journey. Your role involves learning and adapting to sourcing technologies, setting the groundwork for future advancements in the team.

      Key attributes

      Strategic Sourcing: Learning the foundations of strategic sourcing, understanding how to identify and attract potential candidates. This involves demonstrating basic sourcing tools and methodologies to build an initial talent pipeline.

      Candidate Experience: Focusing on providing clear and timely communication, ensuring a positive initial engagement for candidates. Build a foundation for a candidate-centric journey.

      Innovation: Innovation involves adapting to basic sourcing technologies and methodologies. Contributing to the team's learning environment by staying curious and exploring innovative approaches.

      Strategic Mindset: Aligning sourcing activities with broader team goals. Understanding the bigger picture and contributing meaningfully to the team's objectives.

      Team Collaboration: Actively participating in team discussions, learning from more experienced team members, and supporting basic team activities to foster a collaborative environment.
