      About the Role
      As a Regional Sales Manager, South East at Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in maximizing market penetration and profitability across the South East Region (NC,SC,FL, GA, AL, TN, VA states). This position requires strong leadership, strategic sales planning, and the ability to manage agent networks and key accounts at the distributor and contractor level. You will directly contribute to the division's goals and objectives by driving local strategies, working cross-departmentally, and identifying new sales opportunities.

      You will collaborate closely with internal departments and sister brands, ensuring effective communication and alignment. This is a hybrid role located in the South EastRegion, with travel required to client sites, trade shows, and industry events.

      What You'll Do
      • Manages agent network and works with key accounts to maximize market penetration and profitability across the South East Region (NC,SC,FL, GA, AL, TN, VA states).
      • Develops local strategies and drives execution to support division goals and objectives.
      • Collaborates with departments to ensure necessary resources are deployed where required.
      • Maintains strong relationships with sister brands to ensure aligned Zekelman decisions.
      • Identifies sales opportunities through market research, customer contact, and other methods for the assigned region.
      • Develops and executes local sales plans and strategies for active and potential pursuits.
      • Prepares periodic reports to assess regional and agent performance against targets and prior-year results.
      • Develops and leads the team (agent or direct) to assure strong leadership in all markets.
      • Establishes close customer contact to understand needs and positions Wheatland Tube to meet those needs.
      • Collaborates with local sales representatives to ensure pricing and business strategy align with overall sales objectives.
      • Drives demand for specialty products by influencing specifications with end users (+50% of field travel visiting contractors).
      • Actively promotes Wheatland Tube's digital and service strengths through the existing sales network.
      • Assures that all key selling points and value-added attributes are communicated effectively in the marketplace.
      • Represents Wheatland Tube at industry trade shows and exhibitions.
      • Recommends product enhancements based on market feedback and increased sales potential.
      • Monitors competitors and reports trends and actions to management.
      • Takes on special projects as assigned and represents the company with the highest ethical standards.

      Who You Are
      • 7+ years of directly related business and/or sales/project management experience, preferably in the construction or industrial sales sector.
      • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience (MBA preferred).
      • Excellent organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
      • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of tax reporting and accounting software.
      • Energetic, personable, and able to build relationships with key stakeholders.
      • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time across the assigned region.
      • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
      • Legally eligible for employment in the United States without sponsorship.

      Compensation & Benefits
      Below is the expected base salary range for this position. This is a good-faith estimate, and offers will be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and interview performance.

      Base Salary Range: [$114,000-$150,000 USD]
      Additional compensation may include:
      • Performance-based yearly merit increase
