What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide customer sales support by processing orders via phone, fax, and email
- Verify insurance benefits and collect necessary patient information
- Document customer requests and ensure timely processing and shipping of orders
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status and potential issues
- Maintain accurate records of interactions using the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service environment, with at least 6 months handling inbound/outbound calls
- Ability to process up to 40 calls a day in an order entry role
- Proficient in MS Office suite and comfortable using ERP & CRM systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of the medical device industry and DME insurance practices
- Understanding of diabetes and insurance verification processes
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience training new hires in a customer service setting
