What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as an Academic Advisor to Political Science majors, assisting with academic and curriculum matters
- Support students with registration and maintain accurate student records
- Assist with various departmental duties, including Summer New Student Orientation (NSO)
- Discuss career opportunities with prospective students and their families
- Promote experiential learning opportunities and participate in planning events to enhance student experiences

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree or equivalent post-baccalaureate experience working with college-age students by the start date of appointment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with university policies and procedures
- Experience working with electronic student information systems
- Previous academic advising experience
