      Your opportunity


      As part of the Central Purchasing and Signing team you will work within the SBM’s Office to deliver on the objectives and outcomes aligned with the STS Approval and Signing strategy. These objectives include ensuring long term sustainability of STS pipeline and purchasing model via a centralized STS purchasing and signing body with clearly defined OKRs, enabling alignment of CPSP governance processes with top down pipeline guiding principles, ensure flexibility with leveraging 3rd party vendors while safeguarding STS and enterprise from undue risk, defining governance processes and identify supporting tools to effectively support distributed Agile teams and Optimize cross enterprise stakeholder engagement to reduce overall firm risk

      What you’ll do:

      • Accountable for CPSP governance objectives and outcomes; ensure the long-term sustainability of top-down guiding principles
      • Coordinate with assigned SMT group to set direction for their Pipeline and Purchase management
      • Partner with Technology, CVM, Legal, and Finance to fulfill Pipeline objectives
      • Partner with Technology, CVM, and Finance to take finalized contracts to signature and purchase
      • Provide thought leadership and oversight for Pipeline Engagement and Delivery Managers

      What you have


      What you have:

      • BS in Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (2+ years)
      • 1-2 years of Schwab technology domain experience as a current or recent contractor or employee
      • Financial services experience a must
      • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to anticipate issues and to design appropriate solutions
      • Leverage relationships and insights to successfully influence others. Build authentic and trusted relationships to create alignment and support.
      • Very experienced in understanding the procurement process for software, hardware, and professional services.
      • Excellent skills in using Ariba Cloud
      • Very experienced with managing, maintaining, and measuring data models for an organization while safeguarding the enterprise from undue risk.
      • Experience with managing software, hardware, and professional services purchases based on demand in adherence to top down guiding principles
      • Proven track record with the ability to define and track quality of work output, streamline and tailoring processes to improve productivity
      • Prior job knowledge and financial experience with an understanding of spend thresholds and continuously monitor/manage pipeline
