What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze patient information to ensure compliance with Federal/State regulations and institutional policies
- Coordinate with clinicians to ensure timely and complete documentation
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality of protected health information
- Communicate professionally through electronic, written, and verbal methods with various stakeholders
- Provide excellent customer service while assisting patients and health care providers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate of Science degree in a healthcare-related discipline required
- Knowledge of medical records format and content
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with a focus on quality
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate of Science degree in Health Information Technology preferred
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred
- Keyboarding skills with intermediate typing/computer skills
- Health Information Technology (HIT) program students nearing completion of their degree will be considered
