What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct direct outreach to new Medicare members, providing personal assistance with their MAPD, DSNP, and MMP plans
- Serve as the member's navigator during the onboarding process, addressing plan questions and anticipating potential issues
- Log all contacts in a database for record-keeping and follow-up purposes
- Participate in regular member benefits training and engage in member advocacy initiatives
- Develop relationships with members to become their go-to resource for future inquiries
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, consumer advocacy, or healthcare systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with members and providers
- Basic understanding of managed healthcare systems and Medicare
- Experience conducting intake, interviews, and research on consumer or provider issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
- Experience with Medicare and Medicare managed plans such as MAPD, DSNP, and MMP
