      Breast Care Nurse Specialist | Oncology/Breast Services | Breast CNS | Spire Healthcare Dunedin | Private Hospital | Reading | Full Time

      Spire Dunedin Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and committed Breast/Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dedicated team.

      This key role provides expert clinical leadership and support ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care for patients undergoing cancer treatments.

      The successful candidate will play a vital role in guiding patients through their journey, offering specialist advice and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.

      Main duties of the job

      Duties and responsibilities:

      • To provide exemplary planned care for Oncology and Breast Cancer Patients
      • Deliver effective and appropriate patient care through clinical expertise and leadership
      • To act as a resource and facilitator for all breast cancer care within the hospitals
      • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies both within and out of the hospital setting to ensure patient needs are met,

      Job responsibilities

      Who we're looking for:

      • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registrationwith no restrictions or conditions.
      • Hold an accredited SACT certificate or willing to work towards this
      • Hold a Breast Care Certificate
      • Previous experience in cancer care services
      • Excellent communication, organisational & IT skills, with the ability to organise work around competing demands on time
      • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
      • Compassionate, empathetic and able to showcase excellent patient care

      Working Hours:Full Time 37.5hrs per week, 5 days, between Monday Saturday

      Contract Type:Permanent, Full time
