What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist individuals with criminal backgrounds in becoming self-sufficient through career development and vocational training
- Develop and maintain relationships with community service providers to ensure participants have access to necessary resources
- Design and facilitate educational and training programs tailored to participants' needs
- Conduct intake processes, needs assessments, and create Individual Service Plans for participants
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support to ensure successful community reintegration
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in public service or social services
- Equivalent to a four-year college degree
- Valid Driver's License and cleared background check
- Strong communication skills to respond to complex inquiries and complaints
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system and experience working with ex-prisoners
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with mental health or disabilities
- Familiarity with community resources and support services
- Advanced software skills in word processing and data management
