YOUR ROLE
As a Specialist Technical Property Assessor, you’ll be responsible for adjusting claims for property loss or damage, which at times may be considered large and/or complex claims. This will involve quantifying loss, initiating repairs and replacement, reporting, and working with customers on negotiating settlement for referred claims, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Auckland. Since this is a hybrid role, you’ll have the flexibility to work from home and the office.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have skills/ experience in the following areas:
• Ability to quantify replacement, repair or reinstatement costs and negotiating indemnity settlements
• Demonstrated experience in providing property assessing advice
• Effortlessly build effective relationships with teams, stakeholders and provide excellent customer service
• Self- motivated, success oriented and committed to achieving results
• Be available to travel to weather events as part of a first respondent assessing team.
