What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide field support to Lease Operations, R&D, and OEM customers globally, ensuring successful field operations tests
- Lead and direct a team of up to 12 people in upgrade and overhaul projects involving technical repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair machine control systems to minimize equipment downtime
- Design and deliver training for internal and external customers using electronic media and hands-on simulations
- Analyze performance data to recommend and implement design changes that enhance productivity and safety
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree in Automation, Fluid Power, Electronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a similar field
- 5+ years of experience developing and/or troubleshooting PLC and HMI software
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic circuits
- Ability to maintain Railroad Certifications
- Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation software and communication networks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
- 1+ years of strong programming experience with languages such as C#, HTML, and JavaScript
- 1+ years of experience working with database software such as Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with GPS systems commissioning and maintenance
- Experience in data analysis with Rockwell Software and/or Microsoft Office
