What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct requirements gathering and develop documentation, including presentations and briefing notes
- Engage with partners and subject matter experts to understand and document business needs
- Implement clinical terminologies and digital exchange standards in health solutions
- Collaborate on the development of electronic forms and related terminology services
- Support the Digital Health Standards Program by ensuring effective standards implementation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in mapping and implementing clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT and LOINC
- 5+ years of knowledge and understanding of digital exchange standards such as FHIR
- Extensive knowledge of pan-Canadian digital exchange standards and tools
- Strong communication and partner engagement skills
- Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Public sector experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Products and cloud tools like Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems used in Ontario
- Experience with terminology asset management tools (e.g., Apelon DTS, Term Works)
- Understanding of jurisdictional electronic health record projects and interoperability services
