Job Description

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Able to enter data in an organized, accurate, concise manner, in a prompt fashion
- Able to organize and prioritize day to day duties and adhere to deadlines.
- Able to climb stairs and move around site
- Able to do some heavy lifting (up to 5-7 kg)
- Maintains neat and orderly workspace as well as upkeep of surrounding area.
- Must be able to work well under pressure, with limited supervision.
- Must have knowledge of GMP and customer requirements.
- Must be able to work overtime if required.
- Must be safety conscious
- Accessing/receiving customer specifications and documentation from customer site or email correspondence.
- Download customer specifications/documentation into proper specification folder for uploading
- Printing specifications/documentation upload into Sharepoint
- Reviewing customer specifications or documentation and identifying necessary information to be inputted into Engineering Change Orders, Item Master, Item Branch, Bills of Materials, and/or Process Instructions for formulas and/or finished goods
- Generating complete Engineering Change Order acknowledging receipt of this documentation
- Drafting DMRs for Medical Device Products, when necessary, or issue change controls, when needed Updating internal information in JDE (i.e., Item Master, Item Branch, X-Reference) Inputting and updating Bills of Materials and Process Instructions Sending ECOs, Process Instructions and other documentation to customers in timely fashion Releasing products in a prompt fashion to adhere to production schedule
- Communicating any issues with scheduling or upcoming work orders to Planning Team, Customer Service Department, Material Planners, Lab Teams and Production Teams during daily planning meeting
- Maintain files up to date
- Working with Specifications Team members and Specifications Manager to communicate any issues, delays or missing information regarding customer documentation, product release or production scheduling
- Pulling information or running reports using Showcase system (i.e., daily schedule, active work order reports)
- Drafting thorough and accurate Standard Operating Procedures, Investigations and Facilities/Equipment/System Change Controls
- Providing support during government, customer and internal audit
- University Degree in Science or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
