Alfred Health Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services. * 1 Fixed-Term Position until December 2025 * Full-time (80 hours per fortnight) * Grade 1 New Graduate Speech Pathologist (Classifications VP3-VP7) * Alfred Health Sites – Rotational position The Department The Alfred Health Speech Pathology Department is a co-ordinated service across all of Alfred Health which includes The Alfred, Caulfield Hospital and Sandringham Hospital. The department provides Speech Pathology Services to patients across the continuum of care. The Position Summary This is an exciting two-year position that rotates between the acute service at The Alfred and the subacute and community services at Caulfield Hospital. We encourage New Graduates and early-career speech pathologists with less than 6 months of experience to apply. The successful candidate will provide a high level of speech pathology service to an allocated caseload within the acute, aged care or rehabilitation setting. The Grade 1 Speech Pathologist will also demonste a sound level of clinical knowledge in the areas of swallowing, communication, voice and cognition.
