      Description

      The Ipswich YMCA is seeking a dynamic indoor spin instructor to lead high energy and engaging group exercise classes at our newly remodeled fitness facility. With top of the line equipment and a wide variety of class times this is a great opportunity for a passionate fitness instructor ready to motivate and challenge riders! Preference for candidates holding certifications from either MADDOGG Spinning or Keiser. Candidates must have early morning, evening, or weekend availability and have interest in leading a minimum of 2 classes per week. Opportunities for additional group exercise hours and classes available.

      Spin instructors lead energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes to accomplish the YMCA mission and goals. A personable demeanor is required to ask and answer questions from program participants and support members in achieving their goals. Must be well-versed in exercise modifications for all populations, observe and adjust approach to support all participants’ capabilities, physical conditions, health, and culture. An effective relationship builder who celebrates the achievement of program participants will be a good fit for this role.

      Qualifications


      • Must be 18 years or older
      • Have a current Group Exercise and/or Personal Training Certification
      • Desire to work with people, build relationships, and help them achieve their fitness goals
