      Position Summary

      Orlando Health is seeking a dedicated Sports Partnerships Specialist. Responsible for managing the hospitality assets, processes, and calendar of events for the Orlando Health enterprise to enhance the executive and team member experience and increase awareness of the organization’s sports and community partners.

      Key Responsibilites:

      • Management of ticketing and hospitality for the organization.
      • Management of sports partnerships calendar and event management.
      • Management of sports inventory and company owned marketing items.

      Schedule

      Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

      Evening and weekends “on-call” as needed


      Responsibilities

      Essential Functions

      • Maintains and executes all hospitality asset inventory for the organization.
      • Arranges for catering and food services for all hospitality events when applicable.
      • Sends out informational emails with event day details ahead of events, and answer questions when they arise.
      • Develops, maintains, and communicates the annual calendar of events on both the shared calendar and internal lists.
      • Develops and maintains ticketing utilization count.
      • Conducts research for potential sports partners.
      • Coordinates all day-of logistics and attends partner events when appropriate.
      • Coordinates all post event logistics. Schedules and facilitates post‐event debrief with the planning team if applicable.
      • Controls the inventory of event materials such as banners and displays. Determines material that will best support the brand message and assigns inventory based on priority.
      • Controls and maintains the inventory of jerseys, polos, and swag items. Determines items that will best support internal and external requests.
      • Facilitates an event planning committee, schedules committee meetings, and prepares updates for leadership.
      • Coordinates outside agencies to develop collateral, marketing items and signage as required.
      • Identifies appropriate internal physicians and staff for events. Coordinates logistics and scheduling to ensure there is sufficient representation at the event.
      • Maintains budget on ordered items, catering, and other necessary spend for the department.
      • Understands the target audience and develops creative activities to engage attendees.
      • Sources and purchases branded giveaways based on expected attendance in order to support sports partner initiatives.
      • Coordinates logistics as necessary with event sponsor and other outside parties.
      • Serves as onsite coordinator and liaison between the enterprise and the partner to ensure team is prepared.
      • Coordinates with the Sports Partnerships Manager to ensure internal projects, initiatives, and events are successful.
      • Maintains extensive knowledge of internal stakeholders, executives, and their EA structure.
      • Collaborate with Sports Partnerships Manager and Sr. Director to proactively evaluate sponsorships, team member engagement and civic opportunities for Orlando Health to engage in the community.
      • Ensure excellent customer service with internal and external stakeholders.
      • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
      • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

      Other Related Functions

      • Regularly evaluates the effectiveness of all assigned events and projects.
      • Maintains growth and development through seminars, workshops, software education and publications to keep abreast of trends in the field.

      Qualifications

      Education/Training
      Bachelor’s degree.

      Licensure/Certification
      Valid Florida driver’s license and must be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier’s requirements and standards.

      Experience
      Two (2) years of experience in business environment with increasing responsibility for coordinating events and/or ticketing platforms.
      Proven organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
