What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the face of the employer in the sports venue industry
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, general contractors, and venue owners
- Identify and track sports venue development opportunities across North America
- Position the employer as the primary service provider for signage, lighting, and architectural elements
- Collaborate with the marketing department to direct marketing efforts for sports venues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree or above in a related field such as marketing, business development, or construction management
- Minimum of 5 years documented experience in the sports venue industry
- Over 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in major projects
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, at all organizational levels
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in selling signage, scoreboards, or architectural elements
- Highly competitive nature with a strong interest in sports
- Ability to work outside of traditional work hours common in sales
