Job Description
This position is for a 2nd shift supervisor for the Space Electronics Manufacturing factory in Endicott, New York. The selected candidate will have responsibility for managing our 2nd shift assembly team of approximately 11 people. The team includes stockroom personnel, circuit card assembly (CCA) operators and inspectors. Duties include but not limited to ensuring mfg schedule is met, resource/labor planning, hiring personnel, developing team members, administering performance reviews and hosting daily schedule standups and shift handoffs.
In addition to supervisor responsibilities, the selected candidate will also perform production control tasks for the back end of the manufacturing process by collaborating with the production controller. The candidate will also be expected to work closely with the production support team to help solve problems that arise to ensure on time completion and delivery of finished goods.
