What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage SQL Server and database access, ensuring security and compliance
- Monitor SQL server performance and respond to any degradation issues
- Optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot application connectivity problems
- Perform regular SQL server and database maintenance, including backups
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet business objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, which can substitute for education
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
- Strong ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with SQL in multiple data centers
- Experience running SQL in Azure
- Familiarity with Grafana
- Preferred certifications: SQL MCSA
