What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and troubleshoot daily maintenance tasks in the SQL/Azure SQL environment, including log shipping, backups, replication, and clustering
- Build database schema, tables, procedures, and permissions
- Automate SQL tasks with job creation and automated reporting
- Create, modify, tune TSQL queries, stored procedures, and SSIS packages
- Participate in rotational on-call support for the database environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience working in a database administrator capacity for on-premise and cloud-based environments
- Knowledge of MS SQL and SQL Azure database platforms
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group and achieve results through team efforts

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with developers on database development and/or programming
- Familiarity with Power BI for business reporting
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
- Strong desire to learn new skills involved in being a SQL Server DBA as technology evolves
