Job Description

- Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance on SQL Server best practices.
- SQL Agent Jobs Maintenance
- SSIS Management and troubleshooting
- Execution performance monitoring
- Job history retention and cleanup
- Documenting job dependencies and execution order
- Coordinate security updates and patches with the EO team.
- Manage disk space for databases, logs, and backups.
- Optimize index fragmentation.
- Monitor SQL Server performance.
- Monitor Always On Availability Groups and Failover Cluster Instances.
- Check replication status and perform regular failover testing.
- Ensure backups are tested and restorable.
- Manage SSRS permissions and security.
- Handle data source connections and report layout changes.
- Develop new reports.
- Monitor jobs related to refreshing cubes.
- Manage SSAS role-based access.
- Troubleshoot data refresh failures.
- Manage server and database permissions, service accounts, and credentials.
