What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan for university sports properties
- Identify and cultivate potential sponsors through networking and research
- Create sales presentations and proposals that align with partners' marketing goals
- Negotiate contracts and manage end-of-year recaps for sponsors
- Stay current with industry trends and leverage new business opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of direct sales experience in a sports multi-media environment
- Proven experience in integrated and conceptual sales
- Exceptional communication and professional sales presentation skills
- Ability to generate and present creative solutions to clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in sponsorship sales or sports marketing
- Familiarity with digital and experiential marketing strategies
- Established network within the sports industry
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs
