The Senior Analyst, Marketing is responsible for delivering data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies, improve campaign performance, and support decision-making across channels. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze customer behaviors, assess channel performance, and provide actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities - Analyze marketing data across channels (e.g., paid search, SEO, social media, CRM) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs, track performance, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth customer segmentation and cohort analyses to support targeting and personalization efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and data teams to measure and optimize the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
- Together with the Growth Lead, design and execute A/B tests and experiments to assess the impact of marketing tactics and guide strategy adjustments.
- Forecast performance and set benchmarks to guide budgeting, planning, and goal-setting for marketing campaigns.
- Support the development of attribution models to understand the customer journey and identify the most effective channels.
- Provide insights on customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLTV), conversion rates, and other critical metrics.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics.
Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing analytics, business intelligence, or related role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, such as SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, HubSpot).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Power BI) to create interactive reports and dashboards.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and familiarity with testing platforms (e.g., Amplitude).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media, email) and their respective KPIs.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with statistical modeling, forecasting, and data mining techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in consumer-focused or digital marketing analytics, particularly in a subscription-based or e-commerce company.
- Knowledge of marketing attribution models, customer journey mapping, and customer segmentation techniques.
- Familiarity with data engineering or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
