What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop Excel-based financial models for managed care contracts to support payer negotiations
- Analyze large, complex data sets and ensure data quality and validity for contract information
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to communicate managed care data and strategies
- Create and maintain analytic reports to ensure accuracy of financial analyses
- Conduct reimbursement analysis and support compliance with contract terms during audits

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or healthcare preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
- 3-5+ years of experience in managed care/payer rate modeling or contract negotiations
- Proficiency in financial modeling of managed care contracts using Excel
- Strong analytical skills with experience in business intelligence tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Tableau
- Knowledge of reimbursement methodologies and medical/insurance industry terminology

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with rate modeling for ambulatory surgery centers and anesthesia services
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and complex formulas
- Familiarity with revenue cycle management and financial reporting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
