      Pacific Life is investing in bright, agile and diverse talent to contribute in our mission to modernize technology for the modern workforce, in support of a superior customer experience. We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Automation Analyst II to join our PL Tec hnology group within the Technology Enablement. This role is hybrid in Newport Beach, CA.

      As a Senior Automation Analyst II, you will work with a diverse group of business and technology leaders, wearing many hats to ensure Engineers have the tools they need to deliver meaningful solutions for the business. This is a hands-on position working directly within a fast-paced, agile engineering team. Successful candidates must be customer-centric and be able to foster an environment of mutual respect for delivering quality software within a fast-paced agile engineering team.

      What You’ll Do:

      • You can drive complex software projects, spanning across multiple engineering groups.
      • Customer-centric and passionate about delivering simply outrageous service to our stakeholders.
      • Possess a strong foundation in delivering quality software within a fast-paced agile team.
      • Team player with the proven ability to collaborate, motivate and develop quality-minded Analysts and Engineers.
      • You can prioritize and deliver iteratively in a continuously changing environment to match business need, requirements, and timeline.
      • Strong communicator with the ability to foster an environment of mutual respect with the shared mission to modernize technology for the modern workforce.
      • Lead cross-functional teams on major project initiatives, acting as an agile leader and delivery manager of new software.
      • Handle many principal duties, all focused on making time, information, and decision processes more effective for the Technology & Digital teams.
      • Provide thought leadership to lead and serve, related to people, process, and culture on a team where everyone counts, and everyone is accountable.

      Factors for Success

      • 5+ years of experience leading software projects within an integrated agile team.
      • Broad experience with software delivery, including benefits, time, cost, and risk management.
      • Possess excellent written, oral and presentation skills. Strong communicator to exercise diplomacy and influence of others toward consensus and decision-making.
      • Good working knowledge for a variety of software integration, automation, and business process improvement solutions.
      • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile software development team.

      What Will Make You Stand Out:

      • Experience working in life insurance and annuity industry.
      • Experience in agile, software delivery, automation, and the AWS cloud.

      Base Pay Range:

      The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

      $118,800.00 - $145,200.00
