What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversight of Benefits Compliance and Financial business administration and strategy
- Consult with internal client groups on compliance matters related to Nordstrom benefits plans
- Serve as a project manager for benefits, projects, compliance, and finance
- Ensure programs remain legally compliant and aligned with business needs
- Manage compliance reviews, reporting, and audits to ensure adherence to ERISA and other regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of benefits experience
- 3+ years of ERISA compliance experience
- Deep understanding of benefit regulations and contract requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree and/or benefit or human resources certification preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with Workday
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel 10%-20% of the time
