What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and reconcile subrecipient billings and cost shares for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with subrecipients to resolve billing inconsistencies and issues
- Prepare and submit monthly invoices and supporting documents to the Department of Energy
- Maintain accurate records of transactions related to billing and accounts payable
- Support annual financial audits and prepare necessary schedules and documentation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA or BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum five years of project accounting and grant/contract accounting experience
- Strong understanding of federal regulations including Uniform Guidance, FAR, and CAS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work well with stakeholders

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and Adobe Pro
- Familiarity with complex Federal Government grants/contracts and cost accounting principles
