Due to the nature of this role, you would be required to work from our Dallas, TX Headquarters facility during business hours.

Work with business strategists to craft strategic and insightful briefs that inspire best-in-class work to drive business.
Collaborate with channel strategists to build efficient, relevant and effective communications.
Develop and lead strategy for key local markets, ensuring collaboration between Brand Communications and Brand Engagement/Partnerships.
Establish a best-in-class process for all proactive and reactive brand governance efforts.
Work with vendors and internal team to ensure efficient asset management.
Lead brand identity efforts internally; working with cross-functional teams and agencies as needed to deliver projects and services on time, within budget, and within agreed upon scope
Facilitate and lead cross-departmental coordination and agency relationships to support planning decisions, foster Innovation, and drive joint solutions for brand strategy
Analyze competitive trends, customer insights, and/or future business needs to clarify key challenges, diagnose the root cause, and recognize improvement opportunities for our brand or content strategy
Serve as a trusted resource to assist employees and other departments in understanding Marketing and Southwest brand strategy, drive current initiatives, and design methodology for project and initiative delivery
Identify solutions to positively impact the environment of the team and Marketing department
Work with the leader to align on priorities, constructively address project work, and build personal development plans
Identify evolving business needs, industry trends, and advancements in the field of marketing and brand advertising; drive team to adapt to changes
May perform other job duties as directed by the employee's leader
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
Ability to think strategically, drive process improvement and see the big picture
Knowledge and experience with brand and content strategy experience
Stong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats
Ability to prioritize high volumes of work effectively and hit promised timelines
Ability to distinguish brand opportunities and clearly dismiss brand misfits.
Ability to deliver quality work within a low-cost environment
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in order to influence business decisions
Ability to demonstrate high emotional intelligence in various situations dealing with both customers and fellow employees
Ability to proactively monitor future marketing trends
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Required: Expert level experience, expansive and far-reaching knowledge in:
Marketing
Advertising
Content Strategy
Preferred: Experience (agency or brand side) advancing brand strategy across internal and external stakeholders
Preferred: A bility t o identify evolving business needs, industry trends, and advancements in the field of marketing and brand advertising; drive team to adapt to changes
Preferred: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

This role will use trends, data, and insights to influence and educate on ways to continually drive the brand forward and support projects such as New Uniforms, New Cabin Interior, Assigned Seating, Getaways by Southwest, etc . The Senior Brand Strategy Consultant is a strong multi-tasker who is detail-oriented, proactive, and organized. They’re als o e xcited to join a collab orative Team and oversee brand governance at Southwest.

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $125,000.00 per year to $139,000.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
