      Job Summary

      The Senior Corporate Project Manager coordinates the implementation and
      delivery of strategic, complex projects across diverse teams, so that the
      projects are delivered successfully and on time. This position works under the
      direction of the Manager, Corporate Project Management Office (CPMO).
      The Senior Corporate Project Manager supports the project portfolio through
      effective planning, coordinating, tracking, and delivery of projects related to the
      organization’s strategic goals. Key stakeholders for this role span business
      areas, such as product, marketing, finance, and network development. The
      Senior Corporate Project Manager is the accountable partner to these business
      area stakeholders in ensuring they understand how their roles, teams, and
      deliverables support a project’s success.

      Key Responsibilities/Duties – what you will be doing

      Project Management:

      • Manages all phases of the project management lifecycle for projects that may run 6-12 months in duration, bring about change to the organization and may include external vendors.
      • Responsible for using the tools and methodologies our delivery teams use to manage programs and projects including scope, schedules, risks, issues, and resource tracking for projects.
      • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
      • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
      • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical and operational feasibility
      • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
      • Develop a detailed project schedule to track progress
      • Ensure resource availability and allocation
      • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
      • Remove obstacles by anticipating the challenges ahead and prepare to take them on, set a course and overcome them.


      Team and Stakeholder Management:

      • Organize teams across business and technology; develop relationships and communicate with all levels, and facilitate between people and teams
      • Ensure project team is a high performing team delivering necessary project deliverables throughout the lifecycle of the project
      • Report and escalate to project leaders as needed
      • Understand business area priorities and their relevance to the assigned project(s)
      • Manage the relationship with the key business sponsor(s) and all stakeholders
      • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

      Qualifications – what you need to perform the job

      Education (Minimum education & certifications required)

      • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required
      • PMP and Agile certifications strongly preferred

      Experience

      • 5-7 years in project management including leading Corporate Agenda-level projects
      • Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in health insurance or health care setting

      Skill Requirements

      • Proven track record of meeting project deadlines/deliverables with successful outcomes.
      • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced business environment
      • Ability to thrive in a matrix-management, hands-on environment that demands a consultative approach and solutions that span multiple environments in a business area.
      • Significant initiative and autonomy, balanced with an ability to integrate information for informed action and against an understanding of proper timing and paths for escalating support requests of leadership
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to clearly represent technical information to an audience.
      • Must be a team player who can build effective working relationships across members of the project team.
