What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute complex incident response playbooks and procedures
- Perform advanced forensic analysis and threat hunting on the enterprise network
- Research and stay current on cybersecurity threats and adversaries
- Conduct malware analysis to support incident response efforts
- Develop automation scripts and playbooks to enhance incident response efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Forensic Analysis, or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience using EDR tools, IPS, Wireshark, and other cybersecurity tools in an enterprise setting
- Strong knowledge of triaging incidents and forensic analysis techniques
- Ability to work under less specific guidance and manage security risks effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6+ years of experience in incident triaging and cybersecurity tools
- Advanced data analysis skills with a SIEM query language like Splunk SPL or KQL
- Strong knowledge of offensive tradecraft and adversary capabilities
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or bash
- Relevant certifications such as GIAC Enterprise Incident Responder (GEIR) or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
