What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond and triage cybersecurity incidents from third-party MDDR providers
- Hunt for and identify threats and threat actor groups, utilizing various detection methodologies
- Lead and participate in "hunt campaigns" to detect and eradicate threat actors on the network
- Provide expert analytic investigative support during large-scale and complex security incidents
- Perform forensic analysis of various security logs and network packet captures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of ten years of related experience, with in-depth knowledge of technology areas impacting cybersecurity
- Strongly preferred experience using SIEM and SOAR platforms
- Deep understanding of network/host-based intrusion analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One or more relevant certifications, including GCIH, GCIA, or CEH
- Experience with EDR technologies and managing security in cloud environments
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and data modeling independently
- Knowledge of security appliances and threat hunting tools
- Experience with Red team or Blue team operations
