- Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing.
- Conduct regular audits and adjustments to ensure database performance.
- Administer cloud-based database solutions like Azure SQL and Databricks, ensuring data security, scalability, and availability.
- Implement automated backup, restore, and maintenance procedures where applicable to reduce manual intervention.
- Work closely with developers, network teams, and other IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Provide guidance and support for development and testing environments.

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our database systems. This role will be responsible for administering Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL, Oracle, Oracle OCI, cloud-based databases such as Azure SQL, Databricks, and Salesforce environments. The DBA will be essential in ensuring data integrity, performing daily backups and restores, implementing incremental backups, and periodically refreshing environments for optimal performance.
