      About the Role

      The Senior Graphic Designer is a highly creative, curious, and self-motivated member of the energetic, fast-paced Creative team at Athleta. They are someone who provides expertise and diligence through their craft while collaborating
      seamlessly with the rest of the team and key cross-functional partners. In this role, the Sr. Graphic Designer will be responsible for crafting digital design experiences for our omni ecosystem, which includes Ecommerce (Mobile-first
      approach), Email, Paid Social, Paid Media, and SMS. This role requires flexibility and the ability to respond to constructive feedback quickly, with a growth mindset.

      This position reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing Design.

      What You'll Do

      • Create excellent, on-brand design supporting Ecommerce (Mobile-first approach), Email, Paid Social, Paid Media, and SMS that demonstrates elevated typographic treatments, color selection, holistic layouts, and animations
      • Ensure all designed content delivers upon brief, is stylistically cohesive, and optimized for the customer experience
      • Create various, unique design concepts for internal reviews to ensure the best-of-the-best options are executed
      • Inspire and contribute conceptual design ideas
      • Optimize, prepare and deliver files with accuracy and precision
      • Present your work clearly and thoughtfully to teammates and cross-functional partners with a customer-first approach
      • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet business goals and ensure designs implemented align with company initiatives
      • Leverage strategy, analytics and brand insights provided within briefs
      • Continually absorb customer insights and apply that knowledge strategically across designs
      • Receive and implement feedback from key stakeholders, as well as provide feedback to your team
      • Partner, collaborate with, and take direction from leaders

      Who You Are

      • Excellent typographic skills with a keen eye for detail, hierarchy, and consistency across a plethora of visual assets
      • A sharp aesthetic sensibility with a passion for creating harmony between type and image
      • Depth of knowledge in designing content to support storytelling on multiple digital platforms (Ecommerce, Email, Paid Media, Paid Social, etc.)
      • A strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while ensuring high standards of quality and on-time delivery
      • A self-starter who is willing and able to build and continuously improve upon our creative standards and processes
      • Highly proficient in Figma and core Adobe CC programs including—but not limited to—Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
      • Animation skills in Adobe After Effects are a plus
      • Highly proficient in Mac OSX and Microsoft Office (connecting to servers, organizing files, sharing documents, etc.)
      • Knows how to optimize images and animations for various digital platforms
      • Understands responsive digital design, how to design for various devices and viewports

      • Experience working with Art Directors is beneficial
      • Experience working in Branding is also beneficial as the brand expression, guidelines, and systems are evolving
      • Can stay organized despite competing priorities and deadlines
      • Proven background working cross-functionally across many teams and departments
      • Ability to navigate ambiguity and fluid business priorities with a positive, proactive attitude
      • Possesses grace-under-pressure
