      Summary:

      We are looking for a seasoned e-commerce professional with strategic vision, creativity, management experience, and passion for fashion retailing to own the Nordstromrack.com P&L. The Sr. Director of Digital Merchandising has a passion for product coupled with a data driven mindset to ensure our customers can seamlessly find and shop products they love. This role requires expertise managing and navigating cross-functional efforts across merchandising, technology, product, marketing and finance to drive results and to improve conversion on the site.

      The Sr. Director of Digital Merchandising is accountable for driving total demand, improving product selection, and the customer experience Nordstromrack.com website, mobile web, and app. Over time, the goal is to also build out a new capability that effectively drives the customer experience, profitability, and growth of strategic areas such as omni channel experiences, mobile app, and potentially other important customer touchpoints across both Nordstromrack.com and Nordstrom.com.

      A day in the life…

      • Manage and develop a high performing digital merchandising team across all categories
      • Develop, lead and deliver a strategic vision across all customer touchpoints
      • Lead across all categories to ensure a cohesive, intuitive digital experience spanning the merchandise categories
      • Partner with a diverse group of stakeholders, including the Nordstrom Merchandising Group teams across all divisions, to drive towards shared outcomes including ensuring online product selection and depth supports online goals and drives multichannel profitability
      • Lead site content and calendar development in partnership with Marketing to drive demand and customer acquisition objectives on site and in email
      • Identify site wide navigation and product page enhancements, in partnership with Product Management, to drive conversion and AOV and enrich our services, site features and experiences
      • Oversee merchandising of product throughout the site to achieve demand targets and improve the customer experience
      • Develop and monitor site analytics (including product conversion rates, customer choice counts) to measure efficacy of product, content and merchandising decisions, in partnership with the Data Analytics team
      • Maintain expertise of the e-commerce landscape and online competitors, identifying category trends and online growth opportunities

      You own this if you have…

      • 10+ years as a leader in a top tier or omni-channel e-commerce retailer, including online merchandising, buying, and/or planning experience
      • 7+ years managing high performing teams with heavy emphasis on online merchandising, buying and/or planning that drive profitable growth
      • Demonstrated results through cross-group collaboration across large, complex, enterprises required
      • Comfortable operating in an evolving landscape and matrixed environment, demonstrated composure in a fast-pace environment with a high degree of accountability
      • Proven ability to identify website process optimization opportunities and motivate others to execute
      • Demonstrated success with site merchandising and site features/functionality that enhances product assortment and presentation
      • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time to make aggressive deadlines
      • Ability and willingness to execute at all levels, strategic and tactical, to deliver results
      • Demonstrated analytical skills; experience in e-commerce analytic tools and online KPI’s

      Pay Range Details

      The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

      Washington: $180,000 - $290,000

      This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
