- The Director will contribute to the development of marketing and business plans, manage budgets, and oversee the business development process for GSA/FEDSIM opportunities. Additionally, they will support the creation and management of an IDIQ cell dedicated to key GSA contracts, including ASTRO, OASIS, and MAS. The Director will also play a key role in developing and leading teams, securing insights into customer needs, and coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful pursuit and capture of strategic opportunities.
- Identifying, researching, and analyzing business opportunities consistent with the organization's long-range and strategic plans.
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts, with significant experience and understanding of GSA's current inner workings.
- Participating in the development of marketing and business plans, strategy implementation, and overseeing and controlling the business development budget and forecasts for GSA/FEDSIM opportunities.
- Supporting the design, installation, and management of an IDIQ cell dedicated to GSA contracts including, but not limited to, ASTRO, OASIS, MAS, and other potential future vehicles.
- Managing the business development process across multiple simultaneous pursuits.
- Making recommendations for, and supporting the creation of, GSA/FEDSIM teams within the client’s organizational structure.
- Developing a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer's requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases.
- Coordinating meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices, and leading white paper and RFI responses.
- Other duties as assigned or directed by management.
- Education:
- Degree from accredited university or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
- Experience:
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years' of Business Development experience, in support of the General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Defense and/or Department of Homeland Security.
- Operational experience may be substituted for business development experience.
- Customer engagement experience, specifically with GSA and GSA AAS.
- Proven experience shaping, bidding and/or winning FEDSIM opportunities.
- Other Requirements:
- Active participation in relevant industry associations.
- May work extended hours, as required.
- United States citizenship required.
- Education:
- Master's degree preferred.

- The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
- USD $ 200,000 - 260,000
- Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.

- Education:
