      Sr. Director , HR Data Analytics

      Work Mode: Hybrid

      Location: Hybrid - Kohler, WI

      Opportunity

      Kohler Company is seeking a strategic, innovative, and data-driven Sr. Director, HR Data Analytics. By collaborating closely with HR, business leaders, and cross-functional teams, you will create a strategy and roadmap to transform how we leverage People data. You will identify and implement solutions within our HR & IT Tech Stack to elevate our analytics capabilities in support of our business objectives, and you will leverage data to identify key insights and provide actionable recommendations that will influence key business decisions across the company.

      Specific Responsibilities

      • People Analytics Strategy
      • Develop and Implement Strategy: Align with the organization's overall goals and priorities.
      • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with HR, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to identify key workforce challenges and opportunities.
      • Roadmap and Prioritization: Build a roadmap for analytics initiatives in partnership with Kohler’s IT Data Analytics team.
      • Dashboard and Reporting: Design, develop, and deliver dashboards, reports, and predictive models to support decision-making.
      • Technical Leadership: Act as a hands-on leader creating dashboards in PowerBI, optimizing data in SQL, and using Python or R.
      • Data Governance: Establish a data governance framework and consistent methodology for data definitions, metrics, reporting, and access.
      • Actionable Insights: Use data to create insights and recommendations on employee engagement, hiring, retention, inclusion, development, internal mobility, and performance strategies.
      • Predictive Analytics: Transition from transactional reporting to predictive analytics and provide forward-looking insights.
      • Data-Driven Decision Making: Champion data-driven decision-making across all levels of the organization.
      • Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs to upskill HR and business leaders on people analytics tools and insights.
      • Embed Analytics: Partner with HR and business teams to embed people analytics into decision-making processes.
      • Tool Adoption: Drive adoption of people analytics tools by designing enablement strategies and gathering user feedback.

      Skills/Requirements

      • Previous experience in creating and scaling a people analytics function
      • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., data science, statistics, business analytics, human resources, or related disciplines); advanced degree preferred.
      • 7 or more years of experience in people analytics, data analytics, or related field
      • Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end people analytics initiatives, from data collection to delivering actionable insights
      • Strong data storytelling skills, translating complex datasets into actionable insights and engaging narratives
      • Strong proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Power BI, R, Python) and HRIS systems (Workday, ServiceNow)
      • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with experience presenting to senior leaders
      • Deep understanding of workforce metrics, HR processes, and talent management best practices
      • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ethical considerations in workforce analytics
      • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify opportunities, establish plans, and drive measurable outcomes
      • Experience enabling stakeholders to adopt data and insights through training and enablement programs

      Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

      The salary range for this position is $191,750 - $251,650. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
