What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, modify, enhance, and implement real-time firmware for digital signal processing on various platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams and commercial partners to implement solutions
- Perform unit and integration testing of firmware to ensure proper execution
- Influence system design by recommending needs for future enhancements
- Follow established configuration/change control processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 7+ years of related work experience
- Deep understanding of embedded system architectures
- Proficiency in embedded software development environment and tools for real-time embedded operating systems
- Strong programming skills and knowledge of networking protocols
- Ability to work independently and deliver projects on time

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with digital radio systems such as GPS/GNSS or software definable radios
- Knowledge of key DSP techniques including correlation, FFT, and phase-locked-loops
- Familiarity with RF/hardware design and debugging
- Ability to read and understand schematic drawings and component datasheets
- Experience working with bootloaders
