      You will be part of the Global procurement Expediting and QA, Global Support who ensures delivery of your product is completed on schedule, saves money by actively working to improve delivery times, and reduces the risks associated with delays in the supply chain and dedicated to implementing sustainable solutions for our customers.       Purpose of the role

      Expediting is a concept in purchasing and project management for securing the quality and timely delivery of goods and components. The procurement department or an expeditor controls the progress of manufacturing at the supplier concerning quality, packing, conformity with standards and set timelines

      Expediting is the application of pressure on suppliers to get them to either meet the original delivery promise or to deliver ahead of schedule or to reassess the schedule based on issues with the supply of parts.

      Expediting is a real-time task, which often demands pro-active responses to situations as they occur. In many cases it’s impossible to be on-site with every supplier around the world, so there is a need for trusted local expeditors with in-depth knowledge of procurement, production, and delivery processes.

      Late delivery from any one supplier can have an impact on the whole chain, preventing projects from being completed on time within contractual delivery date.

      Your responsibilities
      Responsibilities and duties includes:

      • To ensure on time delivery as per PO/Contracts.
      • To ensure all Supplier's forecasts are realistic as per progress reports.
      • Updating the progress report in TMS portel
      • Co-ordination with Engineering/QC/Vendor.
      • Follow up on vendors for documents/drawings/ manufacturing schedule/QAP.
      • Forwarding the documents/drawings to document control for approval and send back the approved drawings to vendors.
      • Inspection report from vendor and working with QC for inspection clearance
      • Coordinating for packing list and shipping instruction form Traffic for the completed orders.

      What you bring

      • A relevant bachelors level qualification, ideally an engineering degree.
      • At least 5 to 7 years’ experience in Expediting, Manufacturing, Production platform.
      • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and credibility both internally and with external clients with strong customer service skills.
      • Demonstrated business acumen to develop realistic business plans with stretch targets and the clear plan to reach those targets.
      • Demonstrated knowledge of handling suppliers and how to improve them in terms of faster delivery, Quality standards. (Improving SIFOT, DIFOT)
      • Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects.
      • Computer experience using standard MS Office suite of programs is required
      • Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
      • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to work with customers, External, Internal stake holders and other personnel on a daily basis
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Good organization, multitasking and time management skills that delivers effective planning and housekeeping standards.
      • Experience in dealing with international counterparts will be added advantages
      • Knowledge of any foreign language will be added advantage
      • Works towards building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
      • Hands-on experience with ERP-systems
      • Fair idea of basic commercial and financial understanding – desirable
      • Good knowledge of P2P - Procure to Pay process flow - desirable.
