What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the development and management of information security policies, standards, and guidelines
- Evaluate the business risk environment and assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of key controls
- Track remediation of identified control gaps and deficiencies, analyzing data for management reporting
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and manage security controls
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to align security controls with best practices

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technology/information security-related field
- Five to seven (5-7) years of direct experience in an information security role using risk-based methodology
- Expert knowledge of information security systems and procedures, and strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with FAIR methodology and understanding of ISO-27000 based security program functional areas
- Communication experience and ability to work cross-functionally with various teams

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC)
- Strong understanding of policy, compliance, and best practice security principles
- Experience leading through influence and acting as a coach to team members
