What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop software programs to meet customer and business requirements
- Participate in special projects, including the Next Gen Point of Sale platform
- Coordinate systems analysis, development, testing, and implementation activities
- Maintain documentation according to established procedures for ongoing support
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in production environments

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, with 3+ years in Software Development
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a related field
- In-depth understanding of Point of Sale concepts and Micro Services API architecture
- Development skills in Java; Python experience is a plus
- Experience building APIs at scale using microservices architecture principles

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Toshiba Store Integrator (SI) and Toshiba's DIF (data integration facility)
- Experience with .NET Core, Docker, Spring, Maven, NPM/Yarn, CSS Sass, JSON / Open API
- Exposure to the Payments domain and high-volume, low-latency applications
- Knowledge of unit-test frameworks and common design patterns
- Ability to refactor existing code bases and understand existing implementations
