What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop firmware in embedded C and software in Qt (C++/QML) for various peripherals and interfaces
- Translate system-level requirements into software requirements specifications
- Design and implement application solutions for embedded control systems
- Create and execute test plans for implemented code and document designs
- Proactively communicate developments or issues affecting project commitments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; generally 7-10 years of experience
- Experience with Medical Devices, FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304
- Demonstrated capability in embedded programming (C, C++, QT)
- Strong understanding of microcontroller architecture and various peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, etc.)
- Good communication (written and verbal), documentation, and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with MDERA
- Knowledge of network and cybersecurity concepts
- Familiarity with embedded OS environments such as Embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or µC/OS
- Knowledge in SIMULINK / MATLAB
- Understanding of Motion Control Theory
