UCT is looking for a talented Sr Manager, Category Management OEM to join us in Malaysia!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop global/regional commodity strategy based on business needs and market condition.
• Identify suppliers based on customer requirements and supplier capability.
• Contract management including GSA, inventory management program, etc.
• Supplier development and maintenance including improvement projects to meet quality, delivery and capability requirements.
• Negotiation of commercial terms, pricing, lead time, MOQ, incoterm, etc.
• Conduct QBR to review and improve supplier performance.
• Project manage transitions and qualifications.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and or Mechanical Engineering or other discipline

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commodity management in manufacturing environment, semiconductor related experience will be a plus.
• Strategic thinking and analytic skills: total cost of ownership, element of cost, etc.
• Market research capability – regional labor rate, raw material cost, etc.
• Good communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skill.
