      Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. Some remote opportunities are available within specific departments.       JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in the direction of the Entertainment Operational staff, ensuring that all venues operate at their optimum performance levels.

      MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Responsible for ensuring the successful operation of all Entertainment venues within the assigned parks including show quality, guest service standards, Team Member satisfaction, cleanliness, facility upkeep, safety, training, efficiency, and budgeting. Responsible for effectively communicating necessary information that pertains to the entertainment operation to necessary parties. Partnering both in and outside of the department with management counterparts.
      • Works in conjunction with the Director of Entertainment in developing and implementing the strategic plan for the maintenance, enhancement, and improvement of all entertainment venues within the assigned areas, including facilities, technical elements/aspects and talent.
      • Oversees Area Managers and provides feedback on performance, giving direction on how to handle, solve and prevent situations and developing communication, decision making and reasoning skills. Creates development plans and ensures Area Managers and their venues are meeting all objectives and accountabilities.
      • Is required to periodically represent the Entertainment Department as Manager on Duty (499) for all entertainment venues in their assigned park. Responsibilities include but are not limited to problem solving all issues involving the venues as well as employees and communicating those issues to the appropriate Management Representation.
      • Analyzes GSAT reports and guest comments to stay in tune with the Guest experience and establishes strategic plans based on observed trends. Analyzes TSAT reports, oversees and established plans on identified areas.
      • Manage labor and non-labor budgets and look for ways to improve overall efficiency. Ensures that overtime is reviewed and reported properly.
      • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      EDUCATION:

      • High school degree or GED required.
      • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or University or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in theater or TV/Film Production preferred.

      EXPERIENCE:

      • 7+ Years: professional entertainment or theme park experience required.
      • 7+ Years: experience in a management or supervisory position preferred;
      • or equivalent combination of education and experience
