      This is a contingent position and is based on contract award.

      Contingent position will be located in Stennis Space Center, MS

      We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Innovation, who will be responsible for the Innovation Process, including producing and gaining approval for innovation and continuous improvement projects in support of NASA and tenant mission, as well as lowering the cost of operations and improving production output and safety.

      Roles and Responsibilities:

      • Energize and engage contract workforce in the innovation process
      • Produce and update an annual Innovation Plan, conduct quarterly innovation reviews with NASA, and develop Innovation Project Proposal with support of appropriate staff
      • Produce one innovation idea per quarter per site (2 sites) or 8 per year
      • Work with Operations manager and team to support innovation project implementation
      • Must be able to interact with senior leaders from NASA and the stakeholders (tenants, Program, State, local Academia) to solicit innovations ideas

      Requirements:

      • 15+ years of experience managing large teams of Civil Servants and Contractors to support NASA Center in data, operations, maintenance, and engineering.
      • Engineering Degree or equivalent training and demonstrated experience.
      • High energy individual, excellent verbal skills, strong people and leadership skills
