Create a consistent world class program transformation management methodology and governance process for all revenue (order to cash) related projects and overall program management engagement

Design and deploy centralized and consistent PPM agile processes best practice frameworks, tools and templates to support the effective execution of Finance Transformation efforts

Develop Finance Transformation strategic roadmap and align on roadmap priorities with key Business, Financial system and Engineering partners

Drive Pinterest's product monetization initiatives which includes, but not limited to, new product introduction, customer onboarding, order management and ads platform external facing features.

Deliver all projects contained in the Finance project portfolio on time, within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements

Provides oversight for project execution and provides strategic guidance to large project teams as required

Identify clear opportunities in our operations to continuously improve performance by considering process change, system strategies and management practices

Analyze and measure operational metrics to both set baselines and capture step-change improvements

Provide leadership focused on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent

Our PinFlex future of work philosophy for this Accounting organization requires this role to visit a Pinterest office for collaboration up to 2 times per month.

A minimum of four years of experience driving large transformational programs across a complex global organization

Extensive knowledge of revenue accounting workflows (e.g. Order to Cash, Revenue Recognition, etc.)

Excellent project and/or program management skills with experience developing roadmaps, driving complex strategic initiatives with a large group of stakeholders and delivering results

Knowledge of financial systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP), CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce), reporting tools and other accounting systems

A demonstrable background in people management that is aligned with our mission and core values

Exceptional leader with a verifiable track record of operational rigor based upon extensive quantitative analysis

Recognized ability to evaluate complex issues from multiple perspectives to ensure that balanced risk assessments are made

Innovative and creative thinker with demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and/or PMP certifications is preferred/a plus.

As the Senior Program Manager specialized in transformation, you will be responsible for leading a team of project management professionals, overseeing a complex portfolio of programs and projects in the revenue accounting area, with the opportunity to stretch into broader accounting functions. You will partner closely with senior leaders across the Accounting, IT, Product and Engineering teams to fully align with needs, develop the strategic transformation roadmap and establish the system architecture that will help scale our business and support growth opportunities.
