What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently design and execute market research, user research, and product research projects
- Define research objectives and design research instruments such as surveys and discussion guides
- Conduct data collection through moderating interviews and focus groups with physicians and stakeholders
- Analyze qualitative data and create detailed research reports with actionable insights
- Manage internal client teams and project logistics, ensuring alignment with AMA priorities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Social Science, Market Research, Anthropology, Public Health, or related field; master's degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of market research, user research, or product research experience
- Experience in the healthcare industry required
- Proficiency in user research techniques and experience with multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Supplier-side/client-side research experience
- Formal moderator or facilitator training
- Training and experience in research design, methodology, and analysis
- Demonstrated proactive communication and problem-solving skills
