      TalentBridge is partnered with a global manufacturer and Industry leader in the Charlotte market. We are actively looking for a Sr Operations Manager to lead operations for automotive manufacturer. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties outlined below.

      Essential Job Functions:

      • Demonstrate professionalism and foster a productive workplace.

      • Adhere to company policies and safety protocols.
      • Ensure personal and team safety, understand machinery operations, and report accidents immediately.
      • Maintain customer quality standards and perform cross-functional job assignments.

      Qualifications:

      • Knowledge of procedures and machinery in molding and assembly.
      • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
      • Current knowledge of industry best practices and trends.
      • Skilled in motivating and leading teams, technical writing, and data analysis.
      • Proficient in lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
      • Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite and SAP).
      • Familiar with OEE, OTIF, GMPs, and quality management systems.

      Deliverables:

      • Promote safety and enforce safety policies consistently.
      • Lead the manufacturing process with focus on meeting KPIs in safety, quality, and cost control.
      • Manage the department budget and foster employee engagement.
      • Continuously improve processes, implement lean principles, and track performance metrics.
      • Develop and train employees, ensuring operational flexibility and effectiveness.
      • Manage administrative duties, including personnel and operations, while addressing policy application consistency.
      • Participate in supplier interactions, hiring processes, and employee development.
      • Drive production targets using lean and Six Sigma tools and strategies.
      • Maintain competent staff through performance management and talent development.
      • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree in maintenance, engineering, or related field preferred, but not required.
      • At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive.
