- Develop and execute the personalized shopping experience strategy and roadmap for H-E-B
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize the features and functionality required to deliver a best-in-class personalized shopping experience.
- Lead the design and development of personalization algorithms, models, and systems that leverage customer data to deliver personalized recommendations, promotions, and content.
- Work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure the personalized shopping experience is intuitive, engaging, and delivers value to our customers.
- Conduct regular customer research and analysis to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors to inform personalization strategies and product decisions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to the personalized shopping experience to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Manage product launches and releases, including coordinating with stakeholders, documenting requirements, and conducting user acceptance testing.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in personalization, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager or similar role in ecommerce or retail industries.
- Demonstrated experience in personalization, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and modeling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of voice of the customer techniques and project management tools
- Working knowledge of retail accounting / finance principles
- Advanced Excel, SQL, and analytical skills
- Advanced verbal / written communication and presentation skills; with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong Agile / Scrum skills
- Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to leverage data to tell a meaningful story
- Ability to break down complex problems into components and reassemble them to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Motivated to independently achieve results
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
