What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure applications are fully available to all stakeholders and customers by working across designated teams
- Assist development teams with deployments, routine patching, and system application monitoring/troubleshooting
- Analyze and evaluate complex data file processing, translating customer reporting requirements and creating reports
- Lead incident response calls and contribute to/create after-action reports
- Serve as an effective liaison between business and technical teams

What is Required (Qualifications):
- A Degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred
- 10+ years of experience in software development and/or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex SQL queries
- Demonstrated experience using UNIX commands to manage production Linux servers and shell scripts
- Ability to lead as a Critical Incident Manager to restore production applications during impacting events

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Version One, ServiceNow, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Experience with cloud monitoring tools such as GCP Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver)
- Prior experience developing/supporting software applications using various technologies like Active Server Pages (ASP), JavaScript, and Oracle DBMS
- Prior experience training/mentoring less experienced personnel
