What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Gaza portion of the BEA project, coordinating with various stakeholders
- Lead work planning for project activities in Gaza in collaboration with the Gaza Lead and Senior Project Director
- Manage subawards and oversee project operations, including procurement and logistics
- Coordinate with implementing partners and local organizations to ensure effective project execution
- Respond to inquiries from USAID and the employer’s leadership team regarding the Gaza project
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 6-8 years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience managing USG-funded programs with a portfolio valued at least $5-10 million/year
- Experience with crisis response and emergency response programs
- Demonstrated overseas experience working on client-funded projects
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA or similar degree in a relevant field
- Additional experience with non-USG international donors
- Previous experience in the West Bank or Gaza
- Experience integrating cross-cutting concepts such as GESI and youth engagement in project implementation
